Another great Burrito at Sahuayo North Hollywood

NeNePie | Aug 3, 200505:02 AM

To Burrito Loving Hounds: please visit this little place in North Hollywood. The chicken burrito at Sahuayo Restaurant is the best I know of anywhere. It's old fashioned, amazingly fragrant and moist stewed chicken -frequently found in the burrito with chunks of the carrot or peppers or onions used as flavoring during cooking. Sometimes I find rice and/or salsa in there too, but little else. What a flavor bomb! I've been there probably twenty times at this point and 17 or 18 times I would say it was my favorite burrito ever. There were a couple of less spectacular ones, but overall the best I know. They're a bargain at something under $4. My carnitas-loving pals say that the carnitas burrito is great there too. Sahuayo is on Oxnard near Cahuenga, in the Vallarta Supermarket parking lot.
