Great no bs farmers market in San Jose

Ken Hoffman | Apr 27, 200307:05 PM     4

Bitter talk about the SF farmers market being a yuppie
boutique inspires me to start a list of markets that have not lost sight of their primary mission of selling top notch produce to a slightly more discerning customer.

The Sunday farmer's market in south San Jose is situated behind Mervyn's on Meridian Ave and Koozer (near Blossm Hill road). It has great parking and easy access from a number of directions. It has about 30 booths with a spectacular variety of products and the "tomato" lady, who sells a multitude of varieties for planting.
