Great Brunch at Prune

df | Feb 11, 2002 09:34 AM

Been to Prune a few times and have enjoyed every visit, but only noticed recently that they were serving brunch. Went on Saturday and it was fantastic. The menu is great, but for me it was easy, had to try their spaghetti carbonara and it was just perfect. Peppery, creamy (no cream actually, just eggs and parmesan)and the bacon was thick and really well-done. My wife had the pancake with pear and blackberry sauce and it was also great. Next time I might have to try the beef tongue, gremolata and beef marrow omelette!

Bloody Mary menu looked interesting, but I stuck with coffee and their special juice concoction.
