Two Great Appetizer at Grand Sichuan International Midtown

Dave Feldman | Sep 21, 200201:43 AM     13

Two friends discovered the "Whole Spinach w/fresh ginger sauce or Red oil." This dish is the first one listed on the "Prodigal's Daughters" page.

It consists of perfectly cooked pressed spinach in a sauce that is light, spicy, oily, and sour. A great use of vinegar.

Our waiter also recommended the Sichuan wontons w/red oil. We blanched a little but were glad we did. The wontons themselves were nothing special, but the sauce -- fantastic, and very hot.
