Grape Leaves kosher market - Brookline

BobB | Nov 29, 201007:21 AM

Finally got in to take a peek at this new place that opened recently in the old Audio Studio space in JFK Crossing. They seem to have a nice if limited selection of products like packaged deli meats, prepared foods, and wines, and better-looking meat selections than you usually see in places like The Butcherie - not to mention a butcher on premises who will cut what you want to order. And pricing isn't too bad, considering that it's kosher, like $14 a pound for rib steaks.

I don't keep kosher myself, but the fact that they offer in-store roasted kosher chickens for $10 apiece means that I'll be coming here on those no-time-to-cook nights when I might have picked up a store-roasted chicken at Star.
