Can you please suggest yummy places to bring a meat-and-potato nearly-80 Grandma for lunch? Basically, cooked cow is her favorite repast though I've not eaten it in more than 20 years. She likes "stylish" American. For dinner sometimes she'll get as "ethnic" as Thai, but that's not really her preference; things like Museum restaurants are the best.
Places we've loved, from y'all: Joan's, Clementine. I'd rather stay on the westside today. I guess we've tried the Getty cafeteria and it's just fine, but too hectic. Noise and bustle is a major no-go for her too. So malls aren't optimal. We were at Century City yesterday and she was so *excited* about all the possibilities, but then they just deflate into not-really-very-good chain yuckiness. So I thought I'd ask....thanks all!
