The Grand Tavern, situated across the street from the train station in Bradley Beach (where the old Sudsy Mug used to be) is opening Monday 4/25. Because they have high end aspirations, l plan to wait until they have all four working wheels on the ground and won't drop in for another week or so. That said, if culinary lineage and pedigree is any predictor of quality, given the chef/owners history and track record (CIA, Porta, Pascal and Sabine et al.) this place might well be amazing. I'm setting the bar very high in hopes that they'll clear it. Let me know if anyone pops in there in the next week or so.
