Grand Cru Wine Cellar (Tampa)

anyone looking to pick up some great wine and/or cheese, go to this place. A little store in a shopping center off of Dale Mabry, they stock all kinds of great wines. Although i have neither the time nor the money to explore wine properly, the cheese they sto9ck is incredible. Imported from Europe, they have stuff from everywhere, it seems.

The woman (can't remember her name...) is VERY helpful, and is genuinely interested in selling you the stuff you'd enjoy most. I had a soft French cheese encrusted with herbs and a blue/green edible mold (awesome!), a hard and a soft asiago, a mild Spanish Iberio, and my favorite, the to-die-for smoked German Bruder Basel.

you can spend about $10 or $15 and have a cheese party for 4. I make a spread with fruit, beer, wine, bread and olive oil, nuts, etc. It doesn't get any better than this... and without cooking!!!
