I discovered a neat Chinese restaurant in Southington, CT, just off of exit 28. The owner was an executive chef in a prior life, and he and his wife now run their own little place.
Unfortunately, I can't remember the name.
If you get off the exit and turn towards the truck stop, go past the movie theater and it is in the little plaza just before Dairy Queen.
Their Peking Duck is to die for. Freshly made soups, and the place is off the beaten path.
Disclaimer: I don't work for them, nor was this endorsement coerced in any way by them. It's a great, undiscovered eating place that is also inexpensive.
