Its been four great years in NYC and now I am off to LA. Oh how NYC has been good to my taste buds and stomach. From Sullivan Bakerys potato pizza to the octopus man in Flushing. From Lugers steak to dai bao at mai lae wah. 5 dumplings for a dollar from many places, but especially tasty dumpling. The ricotta gnocchi at Lupa. The grilled octopus at LIncontro. Coco Helado for 50 cents on a hot day. And tacos from the cart on 104th and Broadway (much better then the 96th street cart). Pizza from Rose and Joes or Sal and Carmines. Dolset Bibimbap from the Mill. Kebab Café. Chicken on rice. Chicken and waffles from Amy Ruths. Wylie Dufresnes original short ribs and his newer squid linguini. Roti Canai and Beef Rendang from Nyonya. The list could go on forever. New York City was amazing chowing. Cant wait to keep on reading this board for new places to try when I come to visit. And of course, I have a whole new city to explore!
