Wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for tacos tripas in SF. I've had some great ones through the Mission, but places tend to be inconsistent. I've liked the Tonayense trucks the most, but they've been inconsistent as well for me. Sometimes it's nice and crispy but still tender on the inside... but other times has been much more mushy consistency.
Tripas done well, cooked tender and lightly fried to crisp them up, are outstanding... but bad ones can be a bland mushy mess.
Anyway, any recommendations would be appreciated.
