Went to visit wife's family in NC last summer. Fell in love with the BBQ. Went to College Inn in Salisbury and also a Pig Pickin. The bbq there is usually shredded pork shoulder and the sauce is more vinegar based, and not as thick as what we would consider bbq sauce (which is usually tomato based). Is there anyplace out here in the LA area that has this more traditional Southern bbq. I also know that in SC there bbq sauce is more mustard based. Any restaurants like that also?
