What's good in South Beach? (SF)

Glencora | Jun 20, 2014 09:24 AM

I'm going to be spending some time in the area this summer, mostly on the weekends.

I had lunch at South Beach Cafe last Saturday. The pizza had good toppings, but I wasn't crazy about the crust. Some of the specials looked interesting (polenta with kale and sausage). Any recommendations?

I'll probably have brunch/lunch at Town's End this Sunday. My search hasn't brought up any recent reports. What's good?

The Chinese restaurant in the same building seems to have pretty dreadful-looking Americanized food. Is that true?

I thought I saw a dollar oyster sign in a window across the street...

Moving farther away, I've been to Delancy Street, though not lately. Any other places I should try? (I know I can also do a search of places around AT&T Park, and I will.) Nothing too expensive. Also interested in takeout and groceries. Thanks.
