What's a good red wine at Costco now?

I live in SF Bay Area & generally like medium bodied, soft, elegant reds ($ or $$). On my last visit to Costco in Redwood City, discovered the $7.99 Pascual Toso Malbec & was pleasantly surprised. I meant to ask the board for suggestions before my next visit, but today's trip kinda crept up suddenly. Today, I purchased the 2004 Antinori Chiani Classico "peppoli" for $16.99 and the Rioja Vega Reserva 2001 for $13.99(approx.) based on the descriptions which included "90 pts from Robert Parker & 90 pts. from Wine advocate respectively, soft tannins, velvet, and the like. Any comments on these or suggestions for others? Hopefully under $35?? Thanks!

ps. I also shop at K&L but can never steer myself away from the wine section at Costco:-)
