Does anyone have a good recipe for the dressing you get on salads at a Japanese restaurant?

Hello all. I'm looking for a recipe for the dressing you typically get on a side salad at a Japanese restaurant. I believe it is some kind of ginger dressing. I've done some looking in stores and found a few, but I'd really like to make it myself. Did a little Googling but the results didn't give me much confidence. If not that exactly, I'd love to just find a good one that uses ginger as I've heard it has some good health benefits.
