Another good lunch at Granville in Burbank

Clare K | Oct 19, 200608:42 PM     2

Went back to my new favorite Burbank lunch place, Granville, with boss (Chowhounder Woo!) and coworker in tow.

I, trying to stay disciplined on my diet, ordered the chicken ceasar salad (easy dressing). Fresh romain, a bit of shaved parm, nice breast of chicken.

Always the bad influence, Woo! ordered the Caprese sandwich with proscuitto - which comes with house-made potato chips - plus a huge side of sweet potato fries AND a big bowl of their Uptown Mac & Cheese. Had to have a bite, of course. The fries were excellent - nice and crispy, and the mac & cheese was also very good. What makes it uptown? A mix of petit basque, gruyere and parmesan cheese, grilled asparagus, sweet peas and grilled chicken. Yum.

Other coworker had the Roasted Turkey sandwich with avocado and a side of fries. HUGE sandwich, but stayed together nicely as he ate it. He said it was very good, and the fries were great.

Fast service, nice atmosphere. Next time, I'll be trying one of their soups - looked amazing today!
