I was intrigued and amused when I saw Good Luck Dim Sum on San Francisco Magazine's top 50 because it totally stood out like a sore thumb. I took it more seriously when a good pal from Singapore who had lived here for a while swore by it for dirt cheap dim sum.
So I gave it a try today and it was good. If you factor in the price it was exceptional (I'll bet most folks will be comfortably full for under $4.50). The best thing is that you can get single dumplings, so you can do dim sum by yourself without having to eat 3 of the same thing.
A grateful nod to the food guys at SF magazine - I believe some of them lurk here.
