Good Kosher Market in Portland?

stevewi | Nov 23, 201601:33 PM     4

We're having chicken tomorrow for Thanksgiving dinner (just family and I'm doing the cooking and I DON'T want to hassle with a turkey).

That being said, I've been on the hunt today for schmaltz -- kosher rendered chicken fat. Since chicken breasts don't have a lot of fat, if you spread schmaltz on the chicken breast just before you brown the skin in the oven, it turns out heavenly...also good for making gravy.

I've been to all my regular places but no one carries it...not even Zupan's... I've also been to a couple of butchers...

So, it's too late for tomorrow (and I've already made alternate arrangements), but for future reference, can anyone out there recommend a good kosher market in Portland for next time?

Thanks in advance...
