Anyone remember Good Humor's Chip Candy Crunch Ice Cream Bar? That was the one that had the misshapen lump of chocolate-like candy at its center. It was always my first choice when the truck came around. These days, though, I can't deal with the poor quality of frozen novelties. If I'm going to blow the calories, I really want to enjoy it.
So it's not a big deal to make good ice cream or to use a high quality chocolate for the coating, but I have no idea how to get the candy center. Any thoughts on how to make a Great Humor Chip Candy Crunch Bar?
