I may be moving to Louisville, KY in a few months. Although I'm excited about exploring the chow-ish treasures of the area, I am worried about the grocery scene. I cook widely and am used to the abundance, quality and variety of ingredients in Chicago. I don't expect a smaller city to replicate this, but I hope that I can still find good fresh fish, for example. And nice cheeses, farmers' markets and ethnic groceries. And meat that hasn't been raised on a scary factory-farm. Oh dear.
Any and all tips will be greatly appreciated.
