Really good a Walmart?

Today I happened to be out and about early on an errand in the Mansfield/Hackettstown area. As I was a little early for my scheduled meet up I went searching for a small nosh and something to kill time in a warm environment. I stopped into the Walmart (open 24 hours)which seemed to fill the bill pretty well. After looking around and killing a few minutes I ambled into the food section to look around, having never been in the store before, and low and behold, I discovered that they make really good doughnuts! While they have some of the raised variety, I am partial to the cake style doughnuts, (which are also harder to find these days!) I was so happy to see a nice variety available. The employee was just putting them out into the display case, and mentioned they had just made them. We selected a few, picked up a small skim milk and a small container of fresh OJ and were all set. Being that I was getting these at a Walmart, I did not have high expectations. I was so amazed at the quality of the doughnuts. Truly the best cake variety I've had in a long time. I had one yellow cake doughnut with brownsugar/cinnamon and another (that was overflowing) with chocolate frosting. Daughter had a Boston Creme and what appeared to me to be a bear claw with cinnamon(?)and a honey glaze, she pronounced the bear claw amazing and the Boston Creme great, though a little over-filled. (the filling squirted out when she bit into it). Who would have thought I'd find the best cake doughnuts in North NJ at a Walmart?
