More on good cheese in Park Slope

A good cheap source of cheese in the Slope is the Food Co-op. Some of their cheeses are 1/4 the price of Murray's. They carry a lot of good locally-grown cheeses (such as from Cato Corner Farm in CT) & have a decent international selection as well. I particularly recommend a sheep-cheese camembert from Old Chatham Farm in upstate New York.

You won't find raw cheeses or some of the more specialized items that I'm hoping Blue Apron will have... And you can't sample. But they sell small pieces... I was able to conveniently taste a lot of good cheese before a trip to Paris.

You can also special order items at the co-op or request that they carry certain items...
