I've been to Cape May many times over the past 30 years, but since discovering Cape Cod 8 years ago, have been an infrequent visitor to what's always been one of my favorite NJ shore towns. My husband and I are considering a week-long vacation there in early September, and I may make a short visit there in early summer with a friend, too. We're not interested in gourmet food and I know I can do a search here if I want that type of food. We're interested in more casual dining with moderately priced and simple fare along the lines of a good diner meal or seafood (fried or not) like the clam shacks found all over the New England coast. Also, any places you could recommend for tasty burgers, pizza, cheesesteaks or other shore-type indulgences? Good dessert places would also be appreciated.
