good burger at Victoria's Diner

It was tough not to order the Mexican (chili and cheddar) omelet at Victoria's Diner in South Bay again, but a burger craving needed answering. Very nice results: good grilled onions, a proper char, cooked medium-rare as ordered (take that, all you so-called burger places that only cook medium to well), a good (not too soft) roll, very good onion rings and fries on the side.

Same ownership as Mike's City Diner, and increasingly like Mike's in food and execution, a good thing. For now, it doesn't have Mike's long lines, and there's free parking in back and across the street. I'm still working on getting there for dinner some night.
