Good bubble tea in Amherst, MA

Visiting my hometown of Amherst today, I made a trip to the Souper Bowl (where I had been before for soup) and tried the bubble tea, which they started serving this fall. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is VERY good. They only had cold drinks, but they had Jasmine green and black milk tea, as well as other fruit flavored teas, all with or without tapioca pearls.

I tried the jasmine green milk tea, which is what I always have in Boston. The tea itself was not too sweet, though perhaps a bit strong, but the boba (tapioca pearls) were some of the best i've had. Their texture was not too soft, but chewy without any hard center. They were soaked in honey (perhaps brown sugar water too), but the honey added a nice flavor. Definitely beats the heck out of the two tapioca pearl drinks I tried in Northampton, and the boba were right on par with the best places in Boston. Definitely worth a visit if you like bubble tea or want to try it!

Souper Bowl is located in downtown Amherst, MA next to the CVS.
