I was talking to a friend recently who insisted that there are no good bialies (sp?) in Los Angeles. She has since flown to New York for a week and is insisting that she is going to have to bring a stash home with her.
Now, I bristle at any mention that Los Angeles' food is inferior to that of any city's (even if it is), so I ask: where can one find good bialies in Los Angeles? This friend lives in the mid-city area but works in Santa Monica and loves to frequent downtown, so no geography is off-limits.
