Furthur down in the thread there was the subject of the best fried chicken. Deep Fried and Pan Fried Chicken make come from the same bird but they turn out differently. Both good but difinitely different. It is like in Eastern NC chopped BBQ is King and SC pulled Mustard Sauce BBQ is Popular. Both good but different. Now the pan fried chicken that I'm interested in has to be fried in a cast iron skillet like my Grandmother use to do. I'm 62 years old so she is eating at the heavenly banquet and I am sure pan fried Southern chicken is served there. Now she is gone but the iron skillett is around here somewhere. Anybody know of places that have good cast iron skillet pan fried Chicken?
