Went to New Ginza last night for sushi with two friends. Very good. My friend and I split a seaweed salad and fried calamari for an app. The calamari was cut and fried perfect. For dinner we split the Gold Fish Maki (eel, avacado, cucumber, scallions), Spider Maki (soft shell crab, flying fish roe, spicey mayo, etc) and Chutoro sashimi (fatty tuna). Our other friend got a sushi boat which consisted of several pieces of sashimi, a cali roll, some other special roll, an app, soup and salad. Huge. Prices were reasonable, but we ran the tab up with sake and some beer. Everything was excellent, especially the eel roll. I had a few bites from our friend's boat and realized that I do not like octopus. Overall a nice spot, only a few minutes wait, and decent prices. I'll try it again.
