Just found out from a friend who regularly visits Gargoyles for late-night drinks and coffee after we go out to eat that the chef, Neal, left last Friday. Not sure of the reason - perhaps because the owner is always at Dedo? Does anyone else know why? New menu on Saturday the 24th was the sous chef's responsibility, temporarily standing in (not sure if it'll become permanent). Another friend who ate at the bar that night said the steak he got was very good.
