Since I have never seen mention of Gamelle (College near Palmerston) on this message board I figured I'd briefly mention my recent meal there. I have to say that I was disappointed, found the food mediocre and overpriced (14 bucks for three strands of asparagus in a sauce).

I had the foie gras appetizer and the wife had the aforementioned asparagus. She enjoyed the asparagus I found the foie gras a bit boring.

For mains I had the seafood soup which was ok but not special and my wife had the steak which was ok although a bit overcooked.

For dessert we both had flourless chocolate cake which was not very chocolatey.

With wine ($40), tax and tip it came to 175 dollars. I found this to be a lot of money for what we got
