A new restaurant opened in my town (Charlotte) offering Gambian & Senegalese food. Being adventurous, I've got a few people from work agree to try it with me. Trouble is, I don't know what exactly to expect. A mini review in the paper was favorable. It cited dishes such as benechino,Sisay yassa,Lamb afra,Dibbi,
supa kanjor. It described these so I have some idea. I do like spicy food, and would appreciate any insight fellow 'hounders can give me on what to order, any customs, etc, that are involved with the meal (lunch). Any other dishes that might not be on the menu, but would be good. Any beverages I should try?
