WOW!! This little temporary stand, assembled daily at 4:00 p m and serves the apertivo hour with very tasty FOLPO, (a local dialect for pulpo/octopus), you can get the star of the stand a whole boiled FOLPO that is perfectly seasoned, or seafood salads, misto frito of shrimp, calamari and of course Folpetti. Max or Barbara then cuts it into bite size pieces, covers with Salsa Verde and a squeeze of a half lemon, served with a small paper bag of crusty bread. Grab an "ombra" of white wine or a tap beer from Bar Ossei, about 20 feet away and take it to the high top bar tables scattered around the stand and enjoy the taste of the Adriatic Sea!! After this apertivo, it is soon time to go to dinner!!!!
