I haven't posted in quite some time but just had to pop on to tell everyone that 2 times this month I have had excellent meals at Gaetano's in Red Bank.
The pasta dishes are excellent, especially the homemade pastas.
I have had 2 versions of the gnocci, both the bolognese and the pesto and they were both great. The bolognese is more of a pinkish lighter sauces than is typical but wonderful.
Their lobster bisque is excellent and good luck trying to stay away from their brick oven bread.
The homemade raviolis pushed the idea of al dente as they were a bit "hard" but still tasted great.
I would recommend it to anyone in the area...
This along with Cerrato's in Bradley Beach (great osso bucco) are becoming my new go to Italian places.
