I am always trying to get oatmeal in my diet and I can't 'stomach' the mouthfeel of a bowl of oatmeal. I made this recipe last night and WOW!!
(For a dark brown sugar flavor, I added 2T of molasses. Oh, and to keep my eye on fat, I used a can of non-fat evaporated milk....came out great! Only took about 40 minutes for me.)
These are fabulous! I ate one warm last night with some fruit and today I had one cold (I actually think I like them better cold) with some Total Fage yogurt on top and a bit of maple added to the yogurt. I'm really smitten.... I love that they aren't white flour with a bit of oats but rather ALL Oats.
