funkey place in montgomery county

I need to give A heads up to the people in Montogomery county. There is A great funkey place on 202 in Blue Bell called McGregor's pub (1179 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell - 610 - 279 - 6892). The service is spotty at best, but everything I have had there so far has been good to great! The garlic steamers are really good (except the pre chopped garlic), peel and eat shrimp could use a little more spice and salt in the h2o but they are cooked and chilled well with nice hot cocktail sauce, ther nachos are HUGE and verry good (both kinds PS. the Irish nachos are cool with Bacon, Cheddar and Scallions), the onion soup is goodb but the fried Calamari is exceptional - I have had them 4 times and the breading is nice and crisp as well as seasoned excellent, and most important the oil is kept very clean so no weird flavors or smells, but the Marinara ----- OUTSTANDING!!!! Mongo cheese fries, i also had a good Ceesesteak. As far as entrees go so far I have had the Crabcakes - UNBLEVEABLE!!!!!1 and only $11.95 - I have had them 3 times and I cannot beleve the value, as an asside the side salad was real cold and crisp - something I love. And tonite I has the Smothered Pork chops - the chops were A little small but the sauce - man rich and thick!!

Now I need to tell you this place has A pool table in it, very little seating, is very LOUD, and the service - well.......we waited about 20 min. at a table to even order our drinks so ..... take it with A grain of salt. Well good luck and let me know how you like it!
