Himself and I have been smitten with haggis after our recent discovery of this delicacy in Scotland. Scotland as a whole blew our socks off. So much so in fact, that we're considering going to Scotland in January for a Burns Night Supper. We'd like a good experience with a traditional, full sheep-stomach haggis.
Where might we be able to go in Scotland to find a nice haggis for Burns Night? Does every restaurant of a certain caliber in Scotland do a Burns Night? Every hotel? Anyone know of any place that serves a traditional haggis any old time of year? We'd love to hear about some place with a nice atmosphere and an even better haggis. Any suggestions? Are reservations required far in advance?
