I went by Fugetsu Do the other evening. (It's on 1st St in Little Tokyo.) Since I've had their mochi a bunch of times, I decided instead to investigate their Japanese snacks. I bought two bags of rice crackers, one relatively plain and the other soy sauce flavored. They were both really good, with lots of flavor and tons of crunch, as if they had been designed by advanced crunch engineers. Rice crackers are famously low in calories, though I didn't check for calorie listings on these particular ones. Their only disadvantage is that they tend to get stuck in your teeth.
