I recently took this recipe from a local newspaper and I plan on making it for T'giving. Could you please take a look at it and tell me if you think the chocolate measure is correct (2 oz.)? It doesn't seem like enough to me, but I am a novice baker. Thank you!
1 stick butter
2 oz semi sweet chocolate
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 t vanilla
3/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans, plus more halves for garnish
Oven to 350, coat pie dish with cooking spray
Melt butter and chocolate together, remove from heat.
Add sugar, flour, stir 'til blended.
Add eggs, beat well
Add vanilla and pecans, stir and pour into pie plate
Bake for 20 minutes
Lay reserved pecan halves on top in decorative pattern
Bake for 5 more minutes
Cool to room temperature
