Fu Lam Moon-return trip for dim sum

Han Lukito | Apr 17, 200305:09 PM

After bad review previous time, I went back and see if things improved. This time right before lunch and things are better than my previous trip here. The prices are still very reasonable at only $1.50 per plate for the small plates and $3.90 for the large/special plates. Still the best value anywhere I have seen in Bay Area.

Exceptional A, Good B, Average, C, Bad D

Shu Mai: C
Porridge with the black egg and pork: A
Sticky rice in leaf: C
Fried tofu: B
Sliced steam pork and ham with jelly fish and veg:B
Claypot rice with chicken and chinese sausage: C
Tapioca pudding: C
Sparerib: C
Cha siu pau: B
Fried taro puff: B
Various dumplings (sorry don't know the names):C
Chicken feet: B from the appearance only since I don't eat and my wife says it's good.

There was a lot of food - all for only $30 for 4 of us with leftovers. Unbelievable.

Then afterward, I visitted the bakery next to LION and the pizza bread near the cashier is simply out of this world ! For only $1.50.
