I was skeptical but one of our TV stations did a blind comparison of a traditionally cooked bird with the highly advertised frozen turkey that you just take directly from the freezer and put it in the oven. It's in a roasting bag so all that needs done is to poke a few holes in it and let her rip.
Guess what? - the frozen bird was prefered by 9 out of 10 testers! Better flavor and more moist. Has anyone seen any similar comparisons? I would be the last person to question tradition but seems to me if this thing is really that good, it could be viable alternative to those who are in a time bind, etc.. I haven't tried it so I can't answer any whys, what abouts, or what ifs.
