Read in Variety Thursday that the Friars club had changed Ownership and they were making some radical changes.... I had a member take me to Lunch, and boy oh boy, I had a very tasty lunch....
Started with the roasted beet salad with had red, gold, and striped beets with goat cheese, blood oranges, arugula, and walnuts... very tasty.. $7.00
followed by the stuffed salmon, stuffed with parsley and garlic over a bed of sauteed soybeans, tomatoes, spinach and corn.... $14.00
My friend had a bowl of Tomato Basil which was good, followed by the Seared Scallops with seafood ravioli in a mushroom broth... very very yummmy... $16 I think is what it was. soup was $3.00 we passed on dessert... wine list was horrible, but they said the chef was updating it.... all in all, I would love to go to this place a few times a week.... Seems like Century City is in for a nice surprise.
