Last week, I picked up a dozen eggs at the Grapevine Wal-Mart. While looking for the use-by date, I noticed they were from a farm in Ponder - that's less than an hour's drive. Do I dare believe that these eggs were gathered "yesterday"? The whites had a a little run-factor when frying, so I know the answer is "no".
Does anyone have input to the path that locally produced foods travel in making their way to our local grocery stores?
