I've been assigned Nigella's ham in coke for Easter dinner. The recipe calls for a bone-in fresh ham. I called Ralph's meat department and was told that there is no such thing as a fresh ham - all ham is smoked and cured. They said that a fresh ham would basically be a pork butt/leg or pork shoulder. Now I'm confused.
Is there anywhere I can pick up a 'fresh' ham in the San Gabriel Valley/OC area?
Here's the link for the ham in coke:

Any suggestions on where I can find pomogranate molasses? I've tried Cost Plus and Trader Joes, neither carry it.
