Just got back from Thailand. I'm making my own Panang curry paste with the ingredients I bought yesterday at the Thai market on Bradstock. I'll make it in my new granite mortar and pestle. Considering the dearth of great Thai places in TO, I'm looking forward to making some great Thai dishes myself using the Thai cookbook I bought at Asia Books in Siam Discovery Centre.
Does anyone know where I can find fresh or frozen coconut milk? They didn't have any at the Thai market I went to yesterday.
I guess I can use the canned stuff I have, but I'm sure the fresh or frozen will be much better.
