A mysterious problem with the freezer in our second refrigerator, which is in the garage, is driving my wife crazy, and I suggested we seek your help. Some items in the freezer -- i.e., the ice cream and the bread and rolls -- are soft, while all of the other items -- i.e., meats, fish, ice cubes, peas -- are as hard as they should be. This condition prevails even if the items are moved around. We're pretty sure nobody has injected our ice cream and bread with antifreeze, so we're mystified. Any thoughts?
