Free/Cheap Tasting in Napa/St Helena along the 29?

I'm taking my girl friends to Napa to celebrate a birthday and need recommendations. Some of us need to stay within a budget, so I would really like to find some $10 and under, free if possible, tastings to beef up our trip.

I know that I would have better luck in Sonoma. Unfortunately, the group really wants to go to Napa – one person has never even been to Napa (the birthday girl). Our only must-stop is Domaine Chandon for some bubbly. I think we may also stop by V. Sattui because it might be fun to have a picnic (and tastings are only $5). I am also trying to squeeze in Honig, one of my favorites and because someone asked me to pick up some bottles, but this is definitely not a must (am I being selfish here – but Honig’s tasting is only $10).

Do $10 and under tastings still exist??!? If so, where? I would prefer to go to places that do not need a reservation, or places where I can make reservations 30 minutes before I drop by.
Any other suggestions?
