Fort Lauderdale seafood

I am a Philly chowhound and I will be visiting my mother-in-law in Fort Laduerdale in a couple weeks. We are going out to dinner to celebrate her 90th birthday. Although she loves good food the menu has to offer some basic, uncomplicated items. Depending on her mood she can get overwhelmed easily. The last request she made was for a good seafood dinner. She likes the Blue Moon, but we're not big fans and she wants something different. It doesn't have to be fancy (just driving her out to a new place is a bit of a treat). In fact she was just remembering favorite clam shacks in Maine...any ideas?? Thanks hounds!
