Had a wonderful dinner at Fork on Capital Hill last night. We arrived around 6PM-ish with NO Reservations and the place was practically full but they were very gracious and found us a table. The space is very warm and inviting.

Our server and the bus boy were charming and attentive right from the start. The place is kind of small so they have to move around these big chairs and they do a nice job of it because you don't ever feel as though the server is intruding on your space.

We decided to skip the appetizers this time because we wanted to catch a movie so we had the Strip Steak and Steak Frite..which was filet mignon cooked rare to perfection and the sauce was amazing. The Fries were sizzling hot and very good. 2 glasses of wine very generously poured. For dessert we shared the Pucker Up Buttercup which was a white chocolate lemon mousse. Fantastic!

The place was completely full again when we were leaving. I would suggest making reservations. They've done a wonderful job with the place and I look forward to going again soon.
