Fork in San Anselmo

I posted a message about this already, but it hasn't appeared, so I'm re-doing this. I apologize in advance if the first message shows up.

Anyway, I went to Fork last week and had a really nice time/great meal. I started with the Foie Gras with almonds and some sort of orange laced sauce. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. Melt in your mouth decadence. My entree was black cod with some veggies in a light lemon buerre blanc sauce. Again, the fish was cooked perfectly and everything on my plate was delicious. I had the cheese plate for dessert - a nice selection of 3 cheeses (blue, goat and cheddar) with some slices of apple drizzled with what tasted like garlic olive oil. My friend got the $19.95 prix fixe and thought everything was excellent. She's a real caesar salad fan and thought theirs was great. Her entree was a pork chop over mashed potatoes with a yummy sauce with mushrooms. Dessert was butterscotch pudding. I tried it and it was awesome. The service was fine. My last name happens to be Fork and the manager noticed this when I gave him my credit card. He was really nice and gave me some postcards to take with me. I'd definitely go back again.
