Singapore is often described as a foodie mecca, or heaven. And, it's hard to argue with that. The variety of cuisines and dishes offered, the freshness, preparation, low cost, and level of hygiene are amazing. And, to top it off, the Singaporeans are a population who can discuss food the way "normal" (read: non-foodie) people talk about sports and politics.
But, Singapore can't really be the only place on the planet where this is the case. Or, can it? I'm really interested to hear what other world cities are nirvana for foodies.
